Levain’s Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, chilled and cubed
- 1 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 3/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 3/4 tsp fine sea salt
- 3/4 tso cornstarch
- 3 1/3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Directions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- Cream the butter and sugars.
- Add eggs on at a time.
- Stir in baking powder, baking soda, salt, and corn starch.
- Gradually add flour.
- Fold in chocolate chips and chopped walnuts.
- Form cookies into balls and freeze 10 minutes before baking.
- Bake 20-25min.
